I am looking for information about Barnabas McCallum who lived in Giles County for most of his life. He was born in North Carolina (possibly Bladen or Robeson Cty) and moved to Giles Cty around 1820. He married Mary Arnold and had the following children--Lucious Warren, Ephraim Alexander, Louisa Ann, Zachiriah Taylor, George Washington, and John. He had a brother Curtis McCollum (McCallum) who lived in Jackson County Alabama. Barnabas was a justice of the peace in Giles Cty. I would like to find out who his parents were and who his other siblings were. Was he related to James McCallum or Daniel McCallum? Any clues would be much appreciated Joanne Bledsoe gleyn@uswest.net
