I recently received a paper from my cousin of notes from her grandmother regarding Giles Co. TN. It is pretty disjointed but thought I'd ask the list if they knew anything about a couple of items. 1st Anyone ever heard of Miner Hill in Giles Co. TN? This paper shows that either my John A. Vance OR Agnes Gilmore had 2 children from another marriage. It says their names were Sally and Georgia and that Sally married Henry Stanley. Nothing more on Georgia. It also says something about Agnes Gilmore being married to a John Mingly before John A. Vance. So these two girls could have been Mingly (?) children (or even Minga.......as it's listed on John A. and Agnes' marriage certificate) It also mentions Bryson, Tenn. Anyone know anything about that? And by Bryson, TN it says "?Thorton ?Crutcher ?Hill" Also says Agnes Gilmore came from VA with her Aunt ____ Crutcher. I know John A. Vance's sister Susan Malinda Vance married Robert Crutcher from VA. Does anyone know anything about these names or places? Sorry this message is so weird! Vicki Shaffer
