My wife and I have done research in courthouses in Missouri, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky and Maryland, plus many state archives. None of the places treated us nicer or gave us more help than in Pulaski. The two ladies were helpful, cordial, and knowledgeable. When we first signed in I said to one of the ladies "I want to find information on my grandfather, he was John Wilson Johnson and I believe his first wife was a Jones (they had a son named Jones)". The lady promptly told me that his first wife was Rebecca Johnson and they were first cousins. They never hesitated as where to find a record that we requested and brought out useful records before we even asked for them.. I don't know whether it was Ms White or Ms. Parker but I am sure the ladies who were there were typical of all the people who worked on the third floor. Thank you, Ms. White and Ms. Parker. Congratulation on your retirement, Ms. White, enjoy. Bill Trott Pasadena, TX
