Hoover Huber ("Old" Matthias "Rev War", Jacob, Hans, Jans Jacob, Hans, Jacob, Conrad) was born in 1780 in Rockingham, VA. He died before 1879 in Rutherford Co. Tenn. He was buried in Rutherford Co. Tennessee. John was one of the early settlers in Warwick Township and the principal contestant in the dispute with Rich Carter in Reference to naming the town. He was a "loading man" and an "Iron Master". The following lines were upon his furnance "Johan Huber der Erst e Deutsche man, Der da eisenwerk Vollfuren Kann." Matthias Wesley Hoover was born on 20 Oct 1795. He died after 4 Jul 1870. 31 M iv. George Clinton Hoover was born about 1800 in Kentucky. Married a woman 8 years younger named Christina. They had two kids in teh 1850 census of Pulaski Co, KY. 1=Samuel born 1838, 2=Katherine born 1841
