Anna) was on the 1830 & 1840 Giles censuses as head of household. Appears to have been widowed prior to 1830. Who was Anne's husband? There was a William Foster in Giles Co. on the 1820 census. Living next to door to Anne Foster in 1830/40 was a Henry Foster. He is in Searcy Co., AR by 1850. He owned land straddling the Giles/Maury Co. line and sold out in the late 1840s. Suspect these Fosters are related to the many Fosters who moved from Charlotte Co., VA to Rutherford and Maury Co., TN before 1820. There is a Richard Foster b. before 1775 in Maury Co. by 1820.
