I'm interested in the photograph of Fate Tate as well as the Hastings photographs. I have a photograph of a house in Waxahachie, TX with several unknown people in it. It was found among the possessions of Martha (Mattie) Hastings Rochelle George Mattie was the daughter of Joseph Hastings and Angeline Poor. I had been trying to identify which relatives in the Waxahachie area Mattie might have been in the photograph. It had not occurred to me to look at the Tate family. Thanks. Fate Tate married the widow of Peter Hastings (aka Hasting or Hasten). Peter was a brother to Joseph G. Hastings aka Hasting. The little girl named Ollie - are you certain it was a girl; that is, could it perhaps be a picture of a young boy (not yet fully potty trained) who was still wearing a dress? Joseph G. Hastings and Angeline Poor had a grandson named Ollie. Ollie grew up in Texas but during a trip to visit relatives in Giles Co., TN he met and eventually married Nettie Jessie Birdsong.
