    1. [TNGILES] Rebecca Howell Long
    2. Looking for additional info on Rebecca Howell who married William Henry Long in Giles County, Tennessee on July 2, 1865. I am almost certain she was the same Rebecca Howell who was the daughter of John Alex Howell and his first wife, Elizabeth LNU. Rebecca was born abt 1844. Does anyone know if she died or did she divorce William Henry Long ? William Henry Long married Louisa Caroline Marbut in Limestone County, Alabama on Aug. 19, 1869. I have not been able to locate a burial place for Rebecca Howell Long... I could be over-looking it. Any Help wouold be appreciated Thanks in Advance Robbie

    2. Hello Anna, The Will of my ancestor, Hiram Taylor Hunnicutt supposedly is written at the bottom of his Uncle Louis Hunnicutt's. I,too, would love to see a copy of Louis' Will. Of all the counties with whom I communicate in my research, Giles has by far the most helpful as well as efficient volunteers. Thank you! Stevie Seitz In a message dated 3/25/2008 1:08:16 A.M. 2. Jim and Ruby Thomas
    3. Robbie, You ask about William Henry Long and wife Louisa C Long in the 1910 Limestone Ala. census. Yes, this William H. is the son of Nicholas Long and Jane Browning. They had two sons: William Henry, Jr. and Denpsey. William Henry Long was previously married and had children but I do not have that information down. Louisa Caroline was the youngest child of John Marbut and Anna Thomas. She was first married to her cousin James F. Thomas, son of David Thomas. James F. died in the war of the states. She was left with three children: Columbus Lafayette (my grandfather), David Silas Wilbur and Jim Betty. William H. and Louisa C. married 19 Aug. 1869. Jim Thomas. ----- Original Message ----- From: <rjkovach@comcast.net> To: <tngiles-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, April 01, 2008 8:04 AM Subject: [TNGILES] Howell / Long >I found a marriage listed in Giles County for Rebecca Howell and Henry Long >on July 2, 1865.
