    1. [TNGILES-L] Joseph Knox - 1840 Census
    2. Patsy Knight
    3. I am looking for someone that has access to the 1840 Giles Co., TN census to do a lookup. I am seeking the information on Joseph C. Knox. I would like to know if a daughter is shown in his household. I know that there are no names on that census, but I am trying to connect Nancy Selina (Nina) Knox to John Geer Knox as siblings. Nina married James Amos McConnell in 1849 in Giles Co. They lived next door to Joseph Knox according to the 1850 census. Thanks, Patsy Knight pknight@arlington.net

    2. Gwen Boucher
    3. In a book called "Every Name Index to 18 Middle Tennessee County Record Books" by Byron and Samuel Sistler I came across a reference to "History of Pisgah" by C M Parker and E J White. The Every Name Index lists some Bouchers-Joseph, Joshua and Joshua Jr, pages 4, 5, 16 and 36 (Bouchard). If anyone has access to these books and could make copies of these pages or notations of what is said about the Bouchers, I would greatly appreciate it and would be glad to reimburse them for their expenses. You can do the regular military information and also the pension information. Even though this was long ago, often you can find names of dependants (children) in this information. Then you can go from there. Mary in Michigan
