Here is a pedigree chart of my great grand father, James F. Randolph. Can anyone help add to this ? James F. Randolph was born abt. 1857 in Giles co. ( believed to be the son of Carson Randolph & Aley M. Turner ). James F. Randolph married Martha Stafford on March 12, 1891 in Giles co. Martha was born abt. 1845 in Tennessee. James F. Randolph and Martha had 6 children listed on the LDS site online. 1) Nancie C. Randolph born abt. 1889 2) Emma Lee Randolph born 1892. 3) Ida Belle Randolph born 1892. 4) Walter H. Randolph born 1896. 5) Samuel Randolph born abt. 1879. 6) Mary Lou Randolph born abt. 1886. Now with this info, I am led to believe that James F. Randolph had been married at least once before his marriage to Martha Stafford. According to one of the resources I have it says that Mary Lou Randolph was the daughter of James F. Randolph and Babe Randolph. Am guessing the same holds true for Samuel Randolph and Nancie C. Randolph. Any help on this would be appreciated. Robbie

Seeking location of burial site of Reuben RIGGS [1749--1837]; born in Morris Co, NJ and died in Giles Co, TN. Married Mary CRAWFORD in 1769 in Rowan Co, NC. Reuben was father of the following children: Jacob; David; Jane; William [1784--aft 1860]; Mary; Margaret and Phebe. He named his friends James WHITE and David A. GOOCH as Executors of his will. His witnesses were James PAISLEY and John A. PAISLEY; both buried at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Giles Co, TN. Reuben was an early settler of Giles Co, TN in about 1810. His son William RIGGS also migrated to Giles Co, TN and lived near his father and purchased land from him. Any help in locating Reuben's burial site will be appreciated. Margaret, You may reach Elizabeth White at records@usit.net. She assists Clara Parker at the Old Records Dept at the Giles County Court House. Her abstracts of the Woodruff Files have been invaluable to me in locating court cases relating to my research. James F. Randolph married Martha A. Randolph on July 22, 1877 in Giles Co. by John P. C. Reed, JP. James F. Randolph married Martha A. Stafford on March 12, 1891 in Giles Co. Was this in fact the same James F. Randolph ? Is it possible that Martha A. Randolph & Martha A. Stafford could in fact be the same person as well ? If not, does anyone know anything about these 2 Martha's ? Somewhat confused. Robbie
Thanks to a very nice person, I now have the obit of my second cousin, C. H. Long. Harvey Long died at Leonard Hospital in Lewisburg, guessing maybe this is in Giles co... His funeral was conducted by the Rev. N. O. Allen. Harvey Long was a member of the Methodist Church and was buried at Booth Chapel. He was survived by his father, Ezra Long, his wife Maggie Simpson Long, and a half sister, Ruth Raney. Now, was Raney Ruth's maiden name or married name ? She was from Minor Hill. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Robbie
