Since Ramon J. was two years old in 1920, one can assume Thomas died between 1918 (year of conception) up to Jan. 1920 (the census was taken Jan. 1920) The household was found in the 8th civil district of Knoxville City ED 112 Ward 21 sheet 26b AND IT IS CLAIMED THIS DISTRICT IS NEAR THE INSANE ASYLUM IN KNOXVILLE. Since you mentioned Jeff Moore had mental problems it seems to fit. The house was found on Oklahoma Avenue in Knoxville. I checked the 1930 census for these guys and found nothing. I did, however, find a Harley Moore age 14 living at the National Orphans Home in Tiffin Ohio (b. in TN but parents were listed as unknown).
