    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Carter/Mathis Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/ReB.2ACE/108.1.1 Message Board Post: Rita, Today I discovered my ancestors Ssusanah Mathis and spouse Philip B. Carter (married 27 July 1837) were in Gibson County Tenn., with their families...and they were in Williamson County with your family as well at other times. I still think there is a connection between your family and mine... My ancestor Phil B. Carter was the son of John W. and Easter Carter. In 1850 Census Phil B. Carter is with wife in Gibson county, and John W. and Esther (we had her name as Easter..probably was Eshter) were living next door with children Franklin 22, Minerva 18, and Sylvester 17. What do you think? Dennis Doughty

    3. Dennis, I am SOOOOO sorry--I never saw this message until now! I was unsubscribed for a short time while we were on vacation and it may have appeared then. Again, sorry--and thanks for replying! I haven't had a chance to really look this over carefully, but I do know that Phillip B Carter and Susannah Mathis are a part of my line (actually, my husband's line). Let me gather my thoughts on this, and I'll get back to you. Many thanks, Rita Floyd ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, November 05, 2003 7:20 PM Subject: [Tngibson] Re: Ray Family > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Surnames: Carter/Mathis > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/ReB.2ACE/108.1.1 > > Message Board Post: > > Rita, > Today I discovered my ancestors Ssusanah Mathis and spouse Philip B.
