Sue Hello, I am asking there also because in the book I am working from. the wade family owned property in Rutherford co. and the last 5 or so children moved onto the land. My wife and I are spending a lot of time with this, but how else do we let this large family know we are doing this: We have been getting some great replies. Census records are not much help since a year is given but not much more, marr. records are fine but much data is not always found on the documents. wife and I researched my family line in WI. We found out not all records were sent to the capital from the court houses, so ended up visiting all but 4 court houses in Wi. we enjoyed the camping around the state but very time consuming. Also found 5 DeVoe families around the state, I connect only to my own not the other 4.
