I did find John Harley on the road crews with John Rust. In those days people who lived on the road were assigned sections and kept it up. I think you may be in error or we are dealing with two generations. Gibson County was not formed until 1823 out of what was known as the Western District, so the information that Moses parents died there in 1815 is not correct. Many of these people came to Gibson from Smith County TN formed in 1799 from Sumner. Try looking for them there.
