Russell - Ben A. Pate was the older brother of my gg grandmother, Mary Pate. I have reason to believe that Ben and Polly Pate may have raised my g grandmother, Hepsey Cannon, when her mother died. Her mother was Mary Pate. I do have some information on the family. Ben and Polly had numerous children. I believe Ben and Polly were in Obion County prior to Gibson.
