Rex, I figure the same as you on the migration the 1840's & 1850's....one of the other posts suggested that the 1800-1850 migration from NC to TN was because of the land grants from military service in the Rev. War. Do you happen to have any more information on the Bell that married your dad's younger sister? Names and dates?
