    3. That would probably be too young to be my Mary Privett. I'm looking for a Mary PRIVETT who would have married John BLACKMAN first and had a daughter named Cordelia "Cordie" BLACKMAN. Cordie later married William BOLSER. Mary married second time to Alford KENNEDY (we THINK they married) and they had a son named Cenus Hardy KENNEDY in February, 1870. I can't find Alford and Mary together and I can't find a record of them with Cenus Hardy KENNEDY. Therefore it was believed that both of them died before 1880 because Cenus Hardy KENNEDY was taken in by a preacher. We always believed that his name was HALL until recently we found an old notation by my grandmother's sister saying it was Preacher Scarborough. I have found no proof of most of this - just going on family stories. That is why I was asking. Thanks for replying. ----- Original Message ----- From: Ron Jones To: [email protected] Sent: Saturday, March 13, 2004 2:22 PM Subject: RE: [Tngibson] Privett, Blackman, Kennedy I have a Mary a. Privett, daughter of William Privett and Martha A. Burnett, born December 1859 in Haywood County, later a part of Crockett County. I do not have anything else on Mary A. Privett. Alford Kennedy lived in Gibson County. I do not know anything else about him other than what was in a census record of 1860. I have that information merely as a possible connection to Alfred Kennedy who married Mary Ann Cherry. -----Original Message----- From: Leslie Moore [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Saturday, March 13, 2004 1:35 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Tngibson] Privett, Blackman, Kennedy Is there anyone out there who has the following people in their line: Mary PRIVETT John BLACKMAN Alford KENNEDY They would be there in the mid 1800's.
