Gene, your James Alexander West parents were Phillip Herington and Debora D Butler West. Phillip was the son of John Wm and Elizabeth Frazier West. As far as I know, James was the only child of Phillip and Debora. After Deboras death, Phillip remarried to Martha Ann Moore, and had several children with her. I have Phillip living in Gibson Co Tn in 1850, and then living in Greene Co Ar. in 1870. Don't have 1860.
