He had a son James, who had a son William, who had a son John Wesley McCaleb, who had a son Charles Wade McCalip....John apparently was told that McCaleb was the wrong spelling of the name and changed it to McCalip. The family moved from Tenn to Ark to Ok. We've done DNA studies, but no other McCalebs have, so there is no one to match to yet. Hopefully, more McCalebs will step forward and be tested!
