I am interested in your Hardy and Patrick Cannadys. In my research, I have found there were two Hardy Cannadys. One was a son of Patrick and Abia Cannady and the other a possible grandson of same. They were about 10 years apart in age. The younger Hardy is my gggrandfather. He lived and died in Sampson Co. NC. The older Hardy born about 1790 (son of a Patrick Cannady/Canady) is the one I am trying to locate info on. No records of him in NC that I have been able to find. He must have left NC sometime in the early 1800s. If you can help, please email me.
