Below is an outline descendant tree for a Roderick Mitchell with a listing for a son named James Mitchell born about 1849 probably in Gibson County, Tennessee. I do not presently know who was the wife of this James Mitchell. If you find a connection with this James Mitchell, I have quite a bit of ancestral information from Roderick Mitchell back through his paternal grandfather. They were in Maury County, Tennessee before coming to Gibson County, as I recall, around 1830.
