I have the children you mention as being the sons of Patrick and Hessiah Canady. He was b. abt 1750 in NC and d. about 1811 in NC. Am interested in the clues that started your search for their being the sons of John or David Kennedy. I decided a long time ago that this line could be any of the following, Canada, Canady, Canaday, Kennedy ... or the various phonetic renderings of Kennedy.
