His daughter Mary was my gggm. She and her children can be found living with Adam on the 1870 and 1880 Gibson Co. Census. Mary married Joseph S. MCWHORTER 2 June 1860, and on both the 1870 and 1880 census is listed as a widow living with Adam CARAWAY. I haven't been able to find the CARAWAY family or Mary and her family after the 1880 census. Her son James McWHERTER, m ggf, moved to Weakley Co. TN, but I haven't been able to find the rest of the family.
