We are leaving in a few minutes - when Jenny calls and says she is ready to get off from work. We will be staying in a Guest House Inn near Baptist Hospital in Nashville. Actually the surgery will be at a surgical center about 2 miles away near Centennial Park. I was going to call Ann to get the latest on Randy, but I keep getting busy signals. I didn't know that Brenda already had a stent either, although I did know she went into the hospital about 2-3 years ago for heart catherization. Carolyn wanted to know exactly what putting in a stent was - how long she might be in the hospital, etc. She said Brenda talked like it wasn't much more than getting a tooth filled, and thought she might even be relased Thursday night. I told her I doubted that, but she would be out about noon Friday if all went well. Brenda is diabetic, and that has probably caused her heart problems. Steve was accepted for the army in spite of being 20 lbs. underweight for his height. They said he scored really well on his written tests. I tried to comfort them by saying that they might use him at a desk job somewhere - and I really think they might. He is waiting to be called about being picked up.
