At least three other Tillman family members went to Delta Co Tx from Gibson Co around that time. They were the sons and daughter of Edward Tillman b ca 1830 and Susan Barrett b ca 1847 Gibson co Tn d bef 1880 Gibson Co Tn. Edward & Susan's children were: 1. Telly M Tillman b 1867 TN 2. Lillia Tillman b 1869 TN 3. John W Tillman b 1872 TN 4. Birtie/Birdie G Tillman b 1875 TN 5. Buna Tillman b 1878 TN Telly, John W and Buna all went to Delta Co Tx. Telly married Denita ? and had Florence Tillman in 1901. John W married Emma Spencer and had Sarah Elizabeth tillman in 1911. Buna lived with her brother John W. In 1930 it appears John W & his wife have passed away because Buna is raising their daughter Sarah. There is a James Tilman listed in 1860 Gibson Co Tn b 1859 as son of W.C & Martha Tilman. I hope this helps at some point. I'm not related to the Tillmans directly.
