Hi Folks, Ancestry is providing folks to look at this map for free for a limited time. Remember that during this time, all of West KY and West TN was owned by the Chickasaw Indians and was used for hunting. No whites were allowed to settle in this area until 1819 when the U.S. Gov't purchased the land for about a nickel an acre.
