George White Moore sent his younger children in 1878 via a train (railroad) to meet their older brother, Jesse Thomas Moore in Hood Co., TX, according to family tradition of a descendent. He lived in the Rutherford area. I have never followed up to see if trains really did exist at that time. Diane
