I am looking for the familiy of the wife of Henderson Clark. Elizabeth Ann Pate, bn 1800 Tn was married to Henderson Clark in Madison, Ala in 1819. They lived in Dyer co, but close to the county line had lands in Gibson and several other counties as well. When Henderson Clark's (bn 1797, ky) will is probated in 1880s he still has land in Gibson. The male children are Charles P., Calvin H. and Thomas Henderson, the female are Sarah Ann, Nancy, Amanda Clay (mine). Henderson is the son of Jesse Clark Sr. and Nancy Williamson. his brother Jessee(unmarried) and widowed Mother also live in Dyer. (Wm. Azariah Dawson marries Amanda Clay Clark and Tom Cotton marries another of Henderson's daughters). I understand that there were Pates in Gibson. Can anyone tell me of these Pates?
