    3. Obituary - July 23, 1954 Fayetteville, Arkansas newspaper Annie Wade Spencer, 65, resident of the Habberton community, died yesterday afternoon at her home. She was born in Humboldt TN, February 13, 1889, the daughter of Stephen and Emma HILL. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Mrs. Spencer is survived by her husband, George W. Spencer,; one daughter, Mrs. J.E. Courtney; Fayetteville Ark.; four sons, C.W. Tyree, Memphis,Tenn., J.L. Tyree, Columbia S.C., F.H. Tyree, Camp LeJeune, N.C., and W.B. Tyree, Oak Ridge, Tenn; two brothers, Warren Hill of Lenoir City, Tenn., and Wayne Hill of Ocean Beach, Calif., one sister Mrs. Elizabeth Haste of Dumas, Ark.; 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Moore's Chapel. Comments: At the time of her death Annie actually resided in Shelbyville, TN with her second husband George "Pop" Spencer but was visiting her daughter Emilye Courtney in Arkansas. Annie Wade HILL m. (1) James Lemuel "Lem" Cyrus TYREE who is buried in Trenton TN - they had 7 children, 5 of whom survived to adulthood (2) George Washington Spencer - no children of this late life marriage. Annie was the daughter of Stephen Clinton "Clint" HILL and Emma Eve LOVE, both of whom were born in Trenton TN and died in Humboldt TN. Emma was the daughter of Dr. Charles Thadius LOVE and Elizabeth Blackmon Buchanan. Clint was the son of John S. "Squire" HILL of Gibson County TN. Lem was the son of William Charles TYREE and Lucy Love LEWIS, both of whom died in Gibson County, TN. Would appreciate any information you have on any of these lines - Tyree, Lewis, Hill, or Love. Annie was my grandmother.
