Hi List Members, I was born and raised in and around Gibson, Gibson County, Tennessee. My parents, sisters and several other relatives still live in Gibson. I would like to know if any of you on the list might have old photos of the town of Gibson. The town has changed quite a bit over the years with several buildings being torn down. I'm especially interested in photos of Hales' store, the pack shed, the canning factory, depot, bank, drug store, appliance store, the blacksmith shops, the potato house, any of the 3 grocery stores of years ago, beauty shop, and Gibson High School (from which my husband and I graduated). I'm also interested in any information anyone has on the old Harrison Hotel in Milan, Tennessee. My great grandfather, Joseph Newton Wilson, worked at the hotel for quite some time. He was, in fact, tied to a tree behind the hotel and robbed during his employment there as a night watchman. I have my great grandfather's old desk obtained from the hotel when they remodeled and bought new furniture. I would appreciate any information at all concerning the hotel, etc. Thanks in advance. Pat
