I have yet to sort out the ancestry of Wilson Brown who was in Gibson County from 1824 to about 1836. In December of 1828 the Gibson County Court asked Wilson Brown and Henry W. James to each inventory the legacies left to their children by grandfather Lewis Brown and grandmother Jemima Brown. I have yet to find a record of those legacies. Earlier in June of 1828, in separate court cases, Wilson and Henry were each awarded guardianship of their infant children. Neal B.
