Red Anthony > thony > > I'm not sure what that referred to in Gibson Co. but "suckering and trying" refers to breaking off the suckers that grow on tomato plants at junction of the stalk and the branches and you have to tie the stalks to poles to keep the plants from falling over under the weight of the fruit.
