One of my fondest memories as a child was going to the watermelon patch with my Grandmother (I'm not sure if it was Grandpa's patch or the neighbor's patch (bg). She took a large knife and a salt shaker, and she cut the melons, we ate the best part, then she cut another one. Boy did those watermelons taste good. Grandpa grew those great big Black Diamond watermelons. Myra
