I am also researching the Watson and Flowers names in Gibson County.The names Cecil Husie Watson and Sadie Husie Watson caught my eye when I read your roll call notice. Another Watson researcher gave me some research he had done and he listed a Huse Watson as a child of Peter Watson who was born 1843 in Tennessee. Other siblings of Huse include Lou, At, Mack, Newt, Evie, Gertie and Sam. No dates are included with any of them. The father and mother of Peter Watson was David Watson who was married to Catherine Stiller in Gibson County before 1850. Siblings of Peter Watson were Margaret, Emeline, Henry, Pinkney Madison (my great grandfather). Huse is such an unusual name that I thought it might be the same as your Husie. How are Sadie and Cecil related, if they are? There is a Brodie Flowers who is a descendant of Hilary Flowers. Hilary was a brother to my great-grandfather Michael Flowers. Hilary and Michael are sons of Jacob Flowers married to Lavinia ______? Jacob and his family located in Gibson County in 1833. Do any of these Watsons and Flowers connect with your lines?
