In going through my notes I find a notation for a Gibson County marriage of Mittie SWINDLE to John BUSH 19 March 1892. Anyone on the list have any further information? I am curious because my husband's aunt always told me that her half brother's mother was Mittie SWINDLE GILLIAM, but in Henderson County I find a record of Phillip Riley GILLIAM marrying Mittie BUSH on 4 December 1898. I feel certain this must be the same woman but wonder if anyone on the list mighthave other information on the SWINDLES and Mittie'e marriage to John BUSH. She has been another of my brick walls for so very long! I am most anxious to discover more about her. Also, still looking for information on the children of Harvey Leander and Alcy (PRESLAR) GILLIAM who moved to Gibson County about 1880.
