The grandkids just left this morning, so I'm finally catching up. My dad was born in Rutherford in 1907. He was known there as Gilliam CAPERTON. Parents were Charles A. CAPERTON and Mattie Lou SMITHSON. Mattie Lou's parents were Laura Adney GILLIAM and Sylvanus SMITHSON. Mattie Lou died in 1916. Anybody out there familiar with these families? Jane Caperton
