This is a story of a brick wall I am up against. I am searching for the final resting place for several BOYKIN family members. Most important are William Osborne BOYKIN and his mother Mariah MOORE Boykin. I know that Lizzie Jones of Trenton, daughter-in-law to William Osborne Boykin lived in Chattanooga with her daughter Cassandra Burton. I have their obits from the Chattanooga Times. Cassandra had one child named Sandra who married Calvin KNAPP. Based on the obit they lived in Tacoma, WA. I wrote to all the KNAPPs in Tacoma with family first names. No results. The reason I am obsessed with this family is because I have a letter written in 1934 by the Solicitor General of GA, John A. BOYKIN, to the Honorable R. L. BOYKIN in Washington, D. C., in which he mentions getting much useful genealogy data from Elizabeth Jones Boykin in Chattanooga. I am hoping that this data was passed down from Lizzie to Cassandra to Sandra to her children. Cassandra "Cassie" Boykin had a sister Georgia Clymetra Boykin who married James Marion Riddle. They had had at least 3 children. They moved to Chicago. There are too many Riddles in Chicago to just start writing. They too may have the data. If anyone knows these names or knows how to contact their descendants I would love to hear from you. Paul, Cassandra and Clymetra went to Peabody High School in Trenton in 1899-1902. Paul and his mother Lizzie are buried in the Jones family plot in Oakland Cemetery. Although I have much information I want to know where the two people mentioned above are buried. Any help will be appreciated. Phil Di Matteo
