Good Afternoon List, We are new to GIBSON-L and need to give you our Gibson County Surnames. My GG-grandparents moved from Virginia to Overton Co.,TN, to Weakley Co., TN, and I think, became residents of Gibson Co. when the county lines changed. John J. MIDKIFF and Elizabeth ABBOTT and their family were listed in the Weakley Co. census 1850. Have found neither John nor Elizabeth since that time.
