I want to make it clear that I'm not offering "look-ups." There's no way that I can do that at this time. What I have is a digitized copy of the 1900 Gibson County census. My family was in District 17 and I'm concentrating on that area for right now. The digitized images are pretty difficult to work with (I'm probably not doing it right). Some of the pages are smudged in the lower left-hand corner - actually, it's more like ink blots - and are unreadable. (As fate would have it - my family seems to always end up in the lower left-hand corner.) Some pages are almost too faint to read. I think that, by using existing cemetery records (provided by our wonderful volunteers) and marriage records (bless Emily Walker) I might be able to figure out who most of the citizens are. So, if you think your family may have been in District 17 (North Gibson / Skullbone?) in 1900, send me their names and any information. I'll tack the information up next to the pc. As I find them, I'll send you a message with what I've found? If you all like, I'll post to the list. I plan to also ask for help from the list, so if you see a message that asks a question like: "29-29 Lan**y, Robert * Nephew in the home of Mary E Marshall" - this could be your ancestor. Karla
