Humboldt,Tennessee Friday June 9th,1916 continued-- MRS.SALLIE BRYANT,49 years old,died at her home in Milan early Sunday morning,after a lingering illness.She was the widow of Jack Bryant.She is survived by two daughters,Mrs.Hazel Eldridge of Memphis & Miss Gladys Bryant;two sons;Herman & Jack Bryant ,both of Milan;one sister,Mrs.Bettie Owenly of Huntingdon;one brother,E.E.Blankenship of Milan.Interment in Oakwood Cemetery. Sharp P.Caldwell & son,Ford, of Trenton,attended the Clark-Sharp wedding here Thursday. Charles W.Scott of Nashville,is visiting his sister Mrs.A.R.Dodson.He is convalescing from a recent operation.His little daughter,Edith Emily,is slowly inproving from an attack of measles and other complications. The following relatives attended the funeral of MRS.ANNIE LUCERTIA COX here Monday morning;Mr.& Mrs.William DeLoach,Mrs.Katie DeLoach and Mr.Turner DeLoach of Carroll County;Messers.Walter & Lewis Cox,Misses Mattie lou & Jeanie Hicks of Jackson. The remains of an infant child of Mr.& Mrs.Frank J.Scheffold of Tamms,Illinois,were brought here for interment Tuesday.Mrs.Scheffold will be remembered ar Miss Pattye Beirl,formerly of Humboldt.The little body was accompanied by Mr.Scheffold,his mother and Mr.Bookstaver of Tamms. INTERESTING NEWS FROM GIBSON---Last Sunday,just after preaching at the M.E.Church,Mr.J.W.Wilkinson & miss Annie Mai Lee were united in marriage in the parsonage,Rev.G.J.Carman officiating.The happy couple left for the home of the bride's uncle,Charles Turpin,where a reception was tendered them. The Stork has started out on another journey,and left a bouncing big boy at Oscar Sloan's. Miss Ruth Casey has returned from Milan and was accompanied home by Miss Mattie V.Stewart.
