Hello All, For a long time now I have been under the assumption (bad thing to do in genealogy research) that my 2nd GGrandfather, Benjamin H. CROCKER of Gibson Co., TN married Martha Ann "Mattie" HOWARD 28 Feb 1861 in Gibson Co. The source of Mattie's name is on the death certificate for Ben's son, Robert Anthony CROCKER, the informant being Mrs. Clay SELLERS (Countess Othel CROCKER) of Bradford. I have reason to believe that Mattie HOWARD may not have been Ben's wife at all as I have no verification of the marriage. There is a book, which I have not seen, "Early West Tennessee Marriages" by Byron and Barbara Sistler, published in 1987, repr. 1993, 1996. Is there someone that has a copy of this book or at least access to it that has the time to do a lookup for me? Thanks in advance for any help. Barry Crocker
