Jean and Jerry, I am researching the GEORGE surname and have found two SNODDY families connected to GEORGE's. I don't know yet if the GEORGE'S are related to me, but wanted to pass along the SNODDY info in the event it can help either of you. In 1850 Lincoln County, TN (LI-714-100) there is a David L. George age 9 living with the David SNODDY family. I also found a married record for Julia Snoddy marrying Daniel George in 1839 in Lincoln County, TN. My suspicion is that Julia Snoddy is either the sister or daughter of David Snoddy and the child living with David Snoddy in 1850 is her son.
