Hello, Is anyone searching the Schneider / Snyder family in Trenton and Gibson County. My wife's great - Aunt was married to Emile Snyder who had a clothing store in Trenton. We have some information and have Emile's naturalization papers. They came from Hagenau, France, near Strasbourg. I have some copies of birth certificates. I got to visit there a few years ago and found Emile's parents tombstone and visited the nearby village where there were lots of Schneiders in the church cemetery. By the way, Mr. Emile Snyder was a tailor. The name Schneider in German means tailor. His father and some others were tailors as well. Max Crocker Max A.
