Hello - Although my gg grandfather assigned his Gibson County property to his two brothers in 1849, I and others have been unable to locate the deeds through which he initially took possession of the property (probably in the late 1820'). Can anyone suggest how the property may have changed hands in those early days, assuming no deeds were issued? Thanks for any related advice. Tom Davis Oceanside
