Hi Gibson County: Another volunteer, Marie Kline, has transcribed the 1850 Gibson Co. census for the US GENWEB CENSUS project. If you thought your ancestors were in Gibson Co. in 1850, but could not find them on the transcription that the volunteers completed under the leadership of Vicki and Eddie, then check this one: ftp://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/census/tn/ Marie may have a better copy of the microfilm, or been able to interpret handwriting better in some cases, and you may find those missing names here.
