Try interlibrary loan at your local library. You may need the full reference. I usually use the Library of Congress web site for that. If your library can't get it for you, ask them what the closest library is that has a copy of the book. Maybe you could travel there to see it. Grandfather) Thomas J. 10 James W. 8 Bennett 3 ------------------------------------------------------------- In 1860 census I show them listed Iin Tuckersville as: N.F.(?) Richardson 28 Susan - 21 or 22 Jane - 11 (Possibly from 1st marriage??) John -2 J.F. Ferguson -Laborer -TN (See possible connection below) ------------------------------------------------------------- What were the true initials for this man? Who were his parents? What was his wife, Susan's maiden name? Was she a first wife? What happened to Camilla and Jane as they later on were not listed in 1880? Any marriage info on these two people? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- John F. Richardson is my Great grandfather. He and his parents ended up in Kaufman Co. Tx after 1874 & before 1880 and there the father was listed as M.T. Richardson w/ wife Susan (on 1880 Census) but M.T. sounds just like N.P. and I found a gravestone for a later daughter born to them that died early where it listed parents as N.P & S.O. Richardson. Could this name be Newton or Noah? Anybody out there know of these lines in Gibson Co?? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also in Gibson Co. (1860 Census) There is listed : W.F(?) Richardson 67 b-GA (approx 1793) (N.P.'s father?) Nancy (wife) 66 b-VA (approx 1794) On the same page as this is a neighbor listed as J. H. Ferguson (looks like Farguson) who looks like he could be an older brother of the laborer that is listed as living with N.P. & Susan Richardson at the same time..I was wondering if either Nancy or Susan might be a Ferguson? I have a picture of John Frank Richardson. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! I'm stuck!!! Licia Babb (Ormond Beach, FL) gsdmoonshadow@aol.com

Doesn't sound like the same Arnold family....there were a lot of them in Gibson Co, TN. There is a large book on the Arnolds written and published by Howard L. Arnold. Title is :"Arnel's of North Carolina Arnold's of Virginia Family Histories". Who might your father be? I will look him up in the Arnold family history book and see if he is listed there.
