    2. Some time back a fellow researcher looked up the burial site for William Butler. He was found in Pleasant Green (Campground) Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Here is what I recorded: Butler, Emma Smith 1877-1923 Butler, William H. 1875-1927 I wrote to TSLA and they replied that there was no record of Emma's death. Just to make sure, I asked Kyle Johnson to research Emma's death in Gibson County in 1923. Kyle could find nothing either. Did I copy the information incorrectly? Does anyone have any information regarding Emma Smith Butler? Perhaps she died elsewhere and was brought to Gibson County for burial. Thank you, Karla Butler Everett

    3. Hi Everyone, I'm running way behind but I just had to load up the photos that have been sent to me over the last month to our website. However, I have good news & bad news. The good news is that I believe I have loaded all of the photos. The bad news is that I placed them under the "Letters" area of the page (I'll change that when I get back). Also, I have not added any text to the photos so for now, only the description in the table is available - more later. Take care everyone & have a fun but safe holiday, Eddy G. Clark

    3. Does someone out there have the set "Tennesseeans in the Civil War"? I'm trying to track down Elijah Dock DRAKE from Warren Co,TN, who is said to have served in the CSA 11th TN Cavalry. He was born in 1818, so to do so, he would have been in his 40's (which come to think of it, was fairly young!?). Any hint to the veracity of the information I received? If he's there, maybe someone would be kind enough to send me a copy of the unit summary along with a copy of the page his name appears. Private reply welcomed. 3. I am also researching the Watson and Flowers names in Gibson County. The names Cecil Husie Watson and Sadie Husie Watson caught my eye when I read your roll call notice. Another Watson researcher gave me some research he had done and he listed a Huse Watson as a child of Peter Watson who was born 1843 in Tennessee. Other siblings of Huse include Lou, At, Mack, Newt, Evie, Gertie and Sam. No dates are included with any of them. The father and mother of Peter Watson was David Watson who was married to Catherine Stiller in Gibson County before 1850. Siblings of Peter Watson were Margaret, Emeline, Henry, Pinkney Madison (my great grandfather). Huse is such an unusual name that I thought it might be the same as your Husie. How are Sadie and Cecil related, if they are? There is a Brodie Flowers who is a descendant of Hilary Flowers. Hilary was a brother to my great-grandfather Michael Flowers. Hilary and Michael are sons of Jacob Flowers married to Lavinia ______? Jacob and his family located in Gibson County in 1833. Do any of these Watsons and Flowers connect with your lines? If so, I would like to hear from you. ---------- > From: Al-Harbi <al-harbi@rnet.net> > To: TNGIBSON-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: [TNGIBSON-L] ROLL CALL > Date: Wednesday, May 19, 1999 10:43 AM > > I am researching BATTLE, DUNLAP, MOORE, GIBSON, KEELEY, EVANS, JEWELL, > FLOWERS, SENTER, NOONER, VICKERS, SHANKLIN, GARRETT, WOODS, JOHNSON, TOOMS, > WATSON, HUNT, COOPER, THEDFORD, TATENT. > > Henry BATTLE m.1) Martha DUNLAP m.2) Eleanor (Eley) MOORE > Elizabeth BATTLE m.
