    3. I have posted a query before looking for info on William Henry Corbin & Ollie Walker who were married in Gibson Co in 1891. That's the last I have on them. I understand that there are still many Corbins in the County and would really like to find out if any are their descendants. I have attempted to contact some from the phone book but have had no luck as yet. Also, just visited the Gibson Co site again (It is really a great site). I saw the Beech Valley School photo of the 4th grade, 1913-14 school year where the teacher was identified as Vera Corbin. Does anyone know if Corbin was her married name and, if so, who her husband was? I would appreciate any information at all. Thanks, Audrey Mailto:alemons@mindspring.com http://alemons.home.mindspring.com/family.html

    2. Vicki
    3. Hello Everyone! Gibson County Illustrated is looking good. This is a tremendous resource. I've spent all morning posting more transcribed pages sent to me by Catherine Edwards and Barry Crocker. It's an on going job but worth it's weight in gold for ALL of you to be able to read the pages quickly and the Pinpoint Search Engine on the main Gibson page has been updated to reflect all the new transcribed pages. It should be hard for anyone to enter their surname in the Pinpoint search and not get at least one hit! Also I'd like to hear as the project goes on, who of you have found a photo of a relative or information that really helped you. Please post them all to the list. We'd like to hear all the stories! Vicki Gibson Co. TN CC

I am still looking for the burial place of my great-great grandfather JAY THOMAS HUBBLE, he owned land on highway 104 the 21st district, the old Dyersburg highway. and since I have not been able to find him in the Yorkville cemetery or the Walnut Grove,Wilson,SpringHill,or the Oakwood cemetery. 3. The volunteers for the Gibson County Illustrated project are working me crazy! A BIG thanks to them all! I have posted all that I have received so far. And the site is being reindexed right now. At this rate Illustrated will be finished this week! (I'm always optimistic!) FYI, I reindex the site every time I post something new to ensure that you get all the instances of your surname every time you run a search on the Pinpoint Search Engine on the main page. AND PLEASE everyone, don't forget to check out EVERY instance of your surname. I don't want anyone to miss something important! A lot of hard work goes into this! Thanks, Vicki
