Pruitt (born 1832 Gibson Co., died 1900 Gibson Co.). She was youngest child of Thomas J. Pruitt (born 1775? Granville Co., NC died 1839 Gibson Co.) and Sarah Estes (born 1780 NC died Gibson Co. date unknown). The Pruitt' s lived on a farm on the Old Medina Road between Humboldt and Medina. The farm is still in the hands of a descendant of Thomas Pruitt. My great grandfather, Albert J. Stone (born in Dickson Co. 1863 died in Shelby Co. 1939) was crossing watchman for L & N in Humboldt during the 1920' s-early 1930' s. He flagged the main drag in Humboldt where the L & N crosses.
