    1. [TNGIBSON] Lemond family of Gibson County
    2. Max A. Crocker
    3. Hello, My Dad's Mother was Versie Mae Lemond of Idlewild - Bradford area. She died in 1921 in childbirth. Her parents were George Lemond and Caledonia Childress. Grandfather was Will Lemond. I found Will Lemond in the 1850 Gibson County census, listed as a single farmer living in a hotel. I have NOT been able to connect the next generation back. Does anybody know where the Gibson County Lemonds came from? Max Crocker Max A. I have a report card of my mother's from 1933. The name of the school was Medina. It is dated August 28, l933. The teacher's name was Ima Pate. This report card states it was my mother's first grade. Because of this report card, I am hoping somebody can possibly give me any information of my family. This is basically all I have to go on. My mother's name was Dorothe Hellen Singleton. Her mother's name was Ina Mae Singleton (MN Shelton). Her father's name was Cletus Singleton. I never knew my grandparents for they died before I was born. My mother and I had been working on this for a bit. But she has since passed away also. So I am trying to continue this on my own. Any information would be greatly appreciated. If any of the above names are familiar, please let me know. Thank You and God Bless. 3. Is the Home built by Moses E. Senter in Humboldt still occupied by Mr. Hugh Ward? I was the beartiful picture of the home in Gibson Co Family and History book written in 1989. Moses E. was my husband's gggrandfather. His grandfather, Moses Edward Wooldridge, wrote about his father's (David Hinds Wooldridge) plantation that was close to his grandparents homeplace. We did not have a picture and were thrilled to find the one in the book.

    3. While at the Martin UT Library I found the 1989 book "Families and History of Gibson Co. TN to 1989" that was published by the Lee-Davis UDC Historical Society of Milan, TN. It was a great book and I would very much like to purchase a copy for our family library. Does anyone know if there are any of these books avaible in your area? My husband's family lines are SENTER, ELAM and WOOLDRIDGE. Moses E. Senter was his gg grandfather. There is a picture of him in the book. Is there still an active UDC in Milan? I am a member of our local U. D. C. in Jonesboro, Ark. Hope that someone can help me locate a copy of the book. Thanks......Jean Pasmore jpasmore@bscn.com
