    3. Marvin, I don't know if it holds true today, but on the 1877 DeBeers map, Milan is shown in District 13, and District 15 is just north of District 13. The east side of District 15 is joined by Carroll County. Someone else may know if the district numbers and positions have changed since then. 1. Re: [Tngibson] "Roberts" Relatives
    2. Alice Algood
    3. If you have a Mark Roberts, you should look at Robards as well. Delphia Cooke, daughter of Shem Cooke, married Amistead Roberts/Robards who died in the Revolution. Shem Cooke was born in Virginia circa 1720-25, lived in Amelia and moved to Granville County NC. He had many descendants who moved to Gibson, Carroll and Weakley. Delphia Cooke Roberts had a son, Mark Roberts, who was bondsman when John Rogers married Elender Priddy in Granville on 22 December 1802. John Rogers was a brother of Job Rogers, who married 1st Sarah Rust & 2nd Agnes Rust and died in Weakley in 1842. Marks Roberts Cooke married Emaline Rust 13 December 1831 with Watson Priddy as bondsman in Gibson. Watson Priddy married Sarah C.Cooke on 6 July 1830 in Gibson. Hope this helps you. 1. Re: Re: [Tngibson] Re: Ben A. Pate Gibson Co. in 1830-50?
    2. She should be on the 1870 and 1880 census with her parents. There are all name indices to both of these censuses. Check the Obion Co. genweb page first for 1870, and www.familysearch.org for 1880, if those don't work, www.ancestry.com (pay site) has a different index to 1870 and 1880.
